25 years as founder and CEO of Intelligent Healthcare, providing innovative health care data management and analytics services for accountable care organizations, health plans, health systems and physician organizations throughout the U.S. Acquired by Zirmed in 2014; served as Vice President for Zirmed to aid transition from 2014 to 2016.
- 1995 – Developed and built Cost and Utilization reporting platform for use by delegated/capitated medical groups and IPAs.
- 2002 – Created integrated claims/lab result value/prescription database for quality reporting.Applied integrated database to run quality measures on total populations ahead of adoption by NCQA and other measure stewards of measure calculations from data sets instead of chart audits.
- 2003 – Introduced population registries to primary care physicians for tracking and managing the quality of care for common diseases, cancer screenings, and other recommended prevention services.
- 2008 – Won contract to provide quality reporting and population registries to Advocate Physician Partners of Chicago, the largest accountable care organization in the U.S.
- 2009 – 2013 –Enabled Advocate to grow its Value Report Story to include 1.3 million patients and 3,500 physicians. Annual physician bonus payments increased from $16 million to $100 million over 5 years.
- 2010 – 2013 Integrated registries/reporting into EMRs/appointment systems; introduced accountable care organization reporting platform to Inova of Virginia (2012) and Seton Health of Texas (2013).
